Made in a home kitchen. Our bakes are made in a home kitchen where ingredients containing allergens are used every day, including cereals containing gluten, milk and eggs. Other allergens, such as nuts, soya and sesame, may also be present. We take care to avoid cross-contamination, but we can't guarantee that any bake is free from allergens or traces of them.
Before you order
- Tell us about any allergy or intolerance when you enquire, including who it affects and how severe it is.
- We'll give you full ingredient and allergen information for your order before you confirm it.
- If you're buying for someone else, please pass this information on to them.
- If you're not sure about anything, ask us. If we can't make something safely for you, we'll tell you honestly.

What's typically in our bakes
As a general guide, most of our breads, pastries, biscuits and cakes contain cereals containing gluten (wheat), and many also contain milk and eggs. Chocolate, fillings, toppings, decorations and savoury fillings can add others, such as soya, nuts, mustard or sulphites. Recipes can change, so always check the information we give you for your specific order.
Coeliac disease and severe allergies
Because our kitchen handles wheat flour every day, we can't guarantee that any bake is suitable for people with coeliac disease. If you have a severe allergy, please talk to us before ordering so we can decide together whether we can make something safely.
Labels
Any bakes we pre-pack for sale are labelled with their name and a full ingredients list, with allergens emphasised, as UK law requires.
Non-edible decorations
Some cake decorations aren't edible, such as toppers, ribbons, wires, fresh flowers, and the dowels and boards that support tiered cakes. Please remove them before serving.
